Indian Revenue Service are the officers directly recruited through Civil Services Examination conducted by UPSC and junior grade officers are recruited through Combined Graduate level Examination.

Indian Engineering Service (IES) exam is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).

Eligibility :
Nationality: Indian Citizen or a subject of Nepal or Bhutan.

Age limit:
21 years -30 years (relaxation as per the govt. norms )

Qualifications:
Candidate must have an Engineering degree from a recognized University .

Candidate must have passed section A & B of the institutes or University examination.

Candidate passed Graduate Membership Examination of the Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (India);

Or

Candidate passed Associate Membership Examination Parts II and III/Sections A and B of the Aeronautical Society of India;

Or

Candidate passed Graduate Membership Examination of the Institution of Electronics and Radio Engineers, London held after November, 1959

5 years of relaxation in upper age limit for the candidates of SC/ST category.
