Will you please tell why a candidate give IRDA exam. Also please give pattern and syllabus for IRDA exam?

IRDA exam is given by the persons who want to become an advisor or LIC agent .After giving IRDA IC 33 Pre recruitment qualification exam and securing minimum of 50 % candidate can sell insurance products. IRDA (licensing of Insurance Agents) is the regulatory body for all the insurance companies in India.

Examination pattern for IC 33:
The Test contains 50 Multiple Choice Questions.
Time is ONE Hour.
Each question carries one mark.
There is NO NEGATIVE MARK for wrong answers.
To qualify a person should get 50% marks.


Syllabus of IC 33 Exam:

Understanding insurance
Providing technical product information
Providing professional advice
Understanding claims
Fulfilling legal and regulatory requirements
Understanding customer protection and ethics
