Can you tell me which better between Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (IPU) and Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow (earlier UPTU)?

As per my knowledge, both Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (IPU) and Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow (earlier UPTU) are good. IPU Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (IPU) is a public, professional university founded in 1998. It is the premier university of India and is known for its high standards in teaching and research, as well as the eminent scholars it attracts to its faculty. It is a teaching-cum-affiliating university which affiliates 84 colleges in Delhi-NCR and has 15 schools and centres. It has been graded 'A' by NAAC. It runs almost 50 courses of study as diverse as engineering, technology, business management, medicine, pharmacy, nursing, education, and law. There are more than 120 colleges affiliated to it which are run according to its rules and regulations. According to Times Ranking 2013 Indraprastha University is ranked 12th among the top universities of India. University School of Law and Legal Studies also ranked amongst top 10 law school of India. Faculty of Biotechnology of university-University School of Biotechnology is ranked 6th in the list of Premier Public Biotechnology Institutes of India. UPTU Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow formerly Uttar Pradesh Technical University is a public university in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh set up by the government of Uttar Pradesh on 8 May 2000. According to the university's website, it is the biggest technical university in Asia. It had approximately 800 colleges affiliated to it. It is affiliating in nature and its jurisdiction spanned the state of Uttar Pradesh. It is one of the largest technical universities not only in India but perhaps in Asia. As of its size and the number of colleges affiliated to it and geographic dispersion, it is sub-divided into five zones with 45–50 colleges in each zone for the ease of management and facilitating inter-zonal comparison and possible internal competition to enhance quality of teaching-learning processes. It offers undergraduate courses in engineering, architecture, hotel management and catering technology, fashion and apparel design, and pharmacy, leading to degrees of B.Tech, B.Arch, BHMCT, BFAD, and B.Pharma respectively. It offers postgraduate courses in computer applications and business administration leading to degrees of MCA, MBA and MBA (Rural Development). |
