For become an IPS officer after completing BCA . For become a IPS officer you have to clear IPS exam.

IPS Exam Eligibility
Age limit-
21 years minimum
30 years maximum,
33 for OBCs and

35 for SCs/STs .

Qualification:
should have Graduation degree in any stream

Nationality: Indian.

Attempts:
General: 4
OBC: 7
S/C S/T: No limit


Exam Stages :

Preliminary Exam:
There are two papers: (multiple choice type examination.)
i)General Studies (300Marks)
ii)an optional subject chosen by candidate (150 Marks).


Main Exam(traditional type, no MCQ.)

One Indian Language Paper -300 marks ( qualifying )
English – 300 marks ( qualifying )
General Essay-200 marks
Four General Studies papers – 300 x 4
One Optional subjects with two papers-2 x 300
