Can you tell me how to apply for IPS officer job after passing B.Com as I want to make my career in this field?

Whenever any vacancy is opened for IPS (Indian Police Service) it is announced by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) as UPSC conduct Civil Service Exam for this.

To be eligible for becoming an IPS officer, the candidate must possess a Graduation degree from an Indian University or an equivalent qualification.

Those in the final year of a degree course can also appear in the Preliminary Examination taken every year by UPSC.

The candidate must be 21 years on 1st August of the year of exam and must not have attained 30 years of age on that date.

The upper age limit is relaxed by 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.

The upper age limit is also relaxed in favor of Defense Services Personnel.
