IML or International Institute for the Management of Logistics was created in 1990 as a partnership between the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, the École des Ponts ParisTech, the group AFT-IFTIM in Paris and a large number of industrial and service companies.

Language

The program is given in English in Lausanne and in French/English in Paris. Although the course is given in English in Lausanne, in exceptional cases, French may be used in documents and lectures and on the occasion of industry visits. Therefore, knowledge of French language is an asset.
