IIIT-NR (Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee International Institute of Information Technology), Naya Raipur established by the International Institute of Information Technology University Act, 2013 of the Government of Chhattisgarh, is a joint venture by Chhattisgarh State Government and National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC).


It invites applications for admission to its following undergraduate Engineering programs:
B. Tech. (Computer Science & Engineering)
B. Tech. (Electronics &Communication Engineering)
B. Tech. (Data Science and Artificial Intelligence)


Admission Eligibility

Admission to B. Tech. programs is based on JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) rank. There are three different categories through which one is admitted:


All India Quota (35% seats amounting to 63 seats: 21 in CSE, 21 in ECE and 21 in DSAI):
One who has completed the school education from any part of India belongs to this category. The eligibility will be as per the business rules of JoSAA.
Admissions will be based on JEE (Main) rank


NTPC Quota (15% Seats amounting to 27 seats: 9 in CSE, 9 in ECE and 9 in DSAI):
One employed with NTPC or the wards that completed the school education from any part of India belong to this category.
The eligibility will be as per the business rules of JoSAA.
Admissions will be based on JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) rank.
All reservations will be as per Government of India norms.


Chhattisgarh State Quota (50% Seats amounting to 90 seats: 30 in CSE, 30 in ECE and 30 in DSAI):
One who passed both 10th and 12th standard exams from schools situated in the State of Chhattisgarh belongs to this category.
One must have scored 50% aggregate marks in Physics and Mathematics (45% for SC/ST/ OBC/PWD candidates) in the 12th standard exam.
Admissions is based on JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) rank.
The reservation belonging to SC, ST and OBC categories shall be as per Chhattisgarh Government norms.
a. Women – 30%
b. Children of Ex-Servicemen – 5%
c. Children or Grandchildren of Freedom Fighters – 3%
d. Persons with Disabilities – 5%
e. 1 supernumerary seat each is available for Kashmiri Migrants in both CSE and ECE programs.
