As you need the Integrated PhD detail so here I am giving you the detail.

As you want to know that is it more preferable then doing M.Sc and PhD separately so I am telling you that it is not more preferable then doing M.Sc and PhD separately

Eligibility
A Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences/Chemical Sciences/ Mathematical Sciences/ Physical Sciences engineering/ Technology and related areas as valid to person Schools, under the 10+2+3/4 system Applicants admitted to School of Physics must have a applicable score in Joint Entrance Screening Test (JEST).The minimum requirement for admission to the Programme is 55\% marks or 6.0 out of 10 CGPA in the
Bachelor’s degree as declared by the University

Announcement of shortlisted candidates on the Institute website 25 February, 2014
Aptitude Test for shortlisted candidates Forenoon of 22 March, 2014
Interview for the shortlisted candidates 22 – 23 March, 2014

For School of Physics:
Online Application Opens. After declaration of JEST-2014 results
Interview for the shortlisted candidates 5-6 May, 2014
