The Institution of Mechanical Engineers (India) is professional institutions in India established in 1914 to promote, advance and update knowledge of mechanical engineering professionals.

Eligibility for Admission

T-ENG. LEVEL

Part I
A Pass in 10th Standard with English, Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics with 6 months engineering work experience either as Trainee or Employee.

Part II

A Pass In 10+2 level examination with English, Physics, Chemistry, Maths or a pass in T. Eng, Part-I of the Institution’s examinations with 6 months work experience either as trainee or Employee.

Section A
A Pass in Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Government Polytechnic with 6 months work experience in engineering field

Or a final pass in T. Eng. Part-II examination of Institution and who have 3½ year Engineering work experience.

Section B

A Pass in Section-A examination of the institution or equivalent qualification with Engineering work experience.
