Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) IAS exam details, i am giving here:

Eligibility:
Qualification:

The candidate must hold a degree of any of Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions.

Age limit
A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 32 years on the 1st of August, 2014.

Exam scheme
The Civil Services Examination will consist of two stages:

Civil Services Preliminary Examination (objective type) for the selection of candidates for the Main Examination; and

(ii) Civil Services Main Examination (written and interview) for the selection of candidates for the various services and posts

(iii) Number of Attempts

(v) Applications are now invited for the Preliminary Examination only

Fees:
OFF LINE Registration Fee (By Mail, Hand Delivery)
A candidate has to pay to the UPSC a fee of Rs. 100.00 (Rupees Fifty only) for the IAS preliminary examination through a single Central Recruitment Fee Stamp

ONLINE Registration Fee
Candidates applying Online (exempting Female/SC/ST/PH Candidates who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay a reduced fee of Rs. 50/- (Rupees Fifty only)

The registration fees for the IAS or the UPSC Civil Services Main Exam are as follows:

Candidates admitted to the Main Examination will be required to pay a further fee
of Rs. 200/- (Rupees Two hundreds only).
