I want to join JBT course at Indira Gandhi National Open University. Is the JBT course of Indira Gandhi National Open University is equivalent to B.Ed course of any other university ? if not what is the difference ? please tell me ?

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) conducts the IGNOU JBT & DELED 2018 Admission Test for admission into 2 year JBT / D.EL.ED course 2018-2020 academic session.

IGNOU JBT / D.El.Ed Eligibility criteria-

Candidates should be passed the Class 12th / Higher Secondary Examination or equivalent examination from the recognized Board of state or central of India.

The minimum passing marks form IGNOU JBT/ D.El.Ed. is decided 50% by the admission authority.

Candidates also must have minimum 2-years experience of teaching for admission in IGNOU JBT/ D.El.Ed. program.

Age Limit:

There is no provision of age limit.

Admission Process -

Candidates will be admitted to the Diploma in Elementary education (D. El. ED) 2018 on the basis of their performance in written test and admission counseling round.

The following documents required in original for verification of the documents:

SSC passing certificate (mark sheet)
HSSC passing certificate (mark sheet)
Category certificate
Domicile (residential certificate).
