The Thakur Chhedilal Barrister College of Agriculture & Research Station, Bilaspur works on “Intensive Extension & Research Project, Fruit Research, Wheat Improvement and Water Management in Agricultural Crops”.

Course offered
Presently there college is carrying a four years undergraduate degree programme of B.Sc. (Ag) only. Apart from the teaching, site specific research and extension programmes are also carried in the station. In future, P.G. programmes are likely to be started.

Eligibility for Admission in U.G
Students passing 10+2 examinations with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology, Agriculture with English or Hindi subjects is the minimum requirement for admission to B.Sc. (Ag.) degree course. Minimum admission requirements for NRI are Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent with a minimum of 50 per cent aggregate mark.

The selection of students is made through the merit list of Pre Agriculture Test (PAT). The test is being conducted by the State Professional Examination Board.
