You are asking for the Indian Overseas Bank clerk exam syllabus. The Indian Overseas Bank clerk exam contains the following papers: 1. Test of Reasoning 2. Quantitative Aptitude 3. Test of English Language 4. Test of General Awareness with Special Reference to Banking Industry Application Fee: Candidates have to pay Rs.700/- through Online/ Offline Mode. Selection Process: Candidates are selected based on Personal Interview. Important Dates: Starting Date for Online Application was on 14-08-2014. Last Date for Submission of Online Application was on 30-08-2014. Starting Date for Payment of Fee was on 14-08-2014. Last Date for Payment of Fee was on 30-08-2014. Last Date for Submission of Hard copy of Application was on 06-09-2014. Indian Overseas Bank clerk exam syllabus 1. Test of English Around 50 questions mainly from Passage Comprehension, Common Errors, Sentence Improvement, Fill in the blanks, Cloze Test , Paragraph Rearrangement and Antonyms and Synonyms 2. Test of Numerical Ability Around 50 questions mainly from simplification and few questions from Numbers system, HCF and LCM, Square Roots, Interest,Percentage, Average, Ratio and Proportion, Profit and Loss, Partnership ,Time and Work and Time and Distance, Number Series, Permutaiion and Combination, Alligation and Mixtures, Mensuration , Data Interpretation (mainly from tables and bar diagrams) 3. Test of Reasoning Around 50 questions mainly from Alphabet Test, Number Series Test, Odd Man Out, Analogy, Arrangement, Coding and Decoding, Blood Relation, Distance and Direction, Calendar, Symbol and Notation, Statement and Conclusion and Data Sufficiency 4. General Awareness Around 50 questions mainly covering current events as National Events ,International Events,Persons, Places ,Awards ,Authors .Economy ,Science And Technology , Sports and Banking awareness and similar areas in General Knowledge. However the most of question (around 70% ) are current events 5. Computer Knowledge Around 50 questions, usually from Computer Awareness covering basics in these feilds |
