Yes Girls candidates can join Indian Navy after passing short service commission examination.

Indian Navy grants short service commission to girl candidate in the following departments.
Naval Architect
Law, Logistics
ATC
Aviation & Education Branches
There is no written examination for entry in short service commission.

Short Service Commission ATC-(SSC -ATC) Short Service Commission
Age limit 19.5-25
You must have Ist Class Science Graduate with Physics /Maths/ Electronics or MSc with Physics/ Maths/ Electronics with min 55% marks.

SSC Law Cadre Short Service Commission
22-27
A Degree in Law qualifying for enrolment as an Advocate under the Advocates Act 1961 with min 55% marks

SSC Logistics Cadre Short Service Commission
19.5-25
B.A (Economics)/ M.A (Economics)/ B.Com/ M.Com/ MBA (Any Discipline)/ BBA/ BBM/ MCA/ BCA/ B.Sc/ M.Sc/ B.Tech (Any Discipline)/ B.E.(Any discipline)/ B Arch/ ICWA/ Chartered Accountancy/ Graduate with Post Graduation in Material Management

Indian Navy grants short service commission to girl aspirants in the following departments.
Naval Architect
Law, Logistics
ATC
Aviation & Education Branches

The various entrance exams which are available are:


After Graduation:

Short service Commission Pilot:-
Education qualification: One should be graduate (any discipline) with math and physics in 10+2 , B.E/B.Tech with 60% marks.
Age: should be 19 to 23 years.

Short Service Commission A.T.C.:-
Education qualification: One should be graduate in physics and mathematics with 60% marks.
Age: should be 19.5 to 25 years.

Short Service commission Hydro:-
Educational qualification: One should have graduate in B.Sc with 55% marks
Age: should be 19.5 to 25 years.

After Engineering:-

Short Service Commission (S.S.C.) education
Age: should be between 21 to 25 years.
Educational qualification: In the B.E/B.Tech, percentage should be more than 60%.

Short Service Commission (Submarine- engineering)
Age: should be 19.5 to 25 years.
Educational qualification: In the B.E/B.Tech, percentage should be more than 60%.

Short Service Commission – Naval Architecture
Age: should be between 21 to 25 years.
Educational qualification: In the B.E/B.Tech, percentage should be more than 60%.

Short Service Commission Naval Armament Inspection Cadre
Age: should be between 19.5 to 25 years.
Educational qualification: In the B.E/B.Tech, There is no percentage criteria for this.
