Both male and female candidates are eligible.

Eligibility Criteria : Permanent Commission
Age limitation:
Applicants must be minimum age of 19 years and maximum 24 years.

Applicants must have completed 10th + 12th, B.Sc, B.E (Physics or Math), Bachelors, Masters Degree or Diploma with atleast 55% of aggregate marks, good academic records from any of the reputated board/university/ college/ institute.

Applicants who all wants to apply for Indian Navy needs to be fit and sound in all aspect such as running & exercise and must not be color blind or night blind.

Other Standard Requirements are:
Eye Sight- 6/6, 6/6
Height and Weight- Minimum height for male -157 cm and for female is 152 cm with the correlated weight.
