Indian National Science Academy was established in the year 1935. It is located at New Delhi, India .

Indian National Science Academy is the apex body of Indian scientists representing all branches of science & technology.

Objectives –

Promotion of scientific knowledge in India .

Coordination among Scientific Academies, Societies, Institutions and Services.

To act as a body of scientists for the promotion of the interests of scientists in India .

To present internationally the scientific work done in the country.

To publish such proceedings, journals, memoirs and other publications as may be found desirable.

To secure and manage funds and endowments for the promotion of Science.

To promote and maintain liaison between Science and Humanities.
