The western disturbance as an upper air cyclonic circulation over eastern parts of Iran and neighborhood amplifying upto 4.5 km above mean ocean level with a trough high up endures.

The induced upper air cyclonic circulation over central Pakistan & neighbourhood extending upto 1.5 km above mean sea level persists.

The trough in mid*tropospheric westerlies generally along Longitude 90.0°E and Latitude north of 20.0°N persists.

The trough/wind brokenness from Vidarbha to North Interior Karnataka over Telangana extending upto 0.9 km above mean sea level persists.

The upper air cyclonic circulation over Gangetic West Bengal & neighborhood extending upto 0.9 km above mean sea level persists.

The upper air cyclonic circulation over western parts of Assam & Meghalaya and bordering Bangladesh augmenting upto 3.1 km above mean ocean level holds on.

Maximum temperature likely to rise by 1*2°C over plains of northwest and central India during next 48 hours and fall by 2*3° C over parts of northwest India thereafter.
Downpour/thunderstorms very likely at many places over north eastern states and at a few places over Sub*Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim and at isolated places over central & adjoining east India and peninsular India.

Rain/snow very likely at isolated places over Western Himalayan region.
