Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test (IMU CET) is an all India online common entrance test conducted by the Indian Maritime University for admission into undergraduate & postgraduate courses in the area of marine.

IMU CET Eligibility Criteria

For DNS:

Candidates have to pass 10+2/ equivalent examination or B.Sc or BE/B.Tech (from IIT or college recognized by AICTE).

Candidates have to pass 10+2/ equivalent examination with PCM or B.Sc in PCM, Electronics with Physics as individual subject in one of the years.

Candidates have to secure minimum 60% marks (10+2/ equivalent examination) or not less than 50% marks (B.Sc & BE/B.Tech).

For B.Sc:

Candidates have to pass 10+2/ equivalent examination.

Candidates have to pass 10+2/ equivalent examination with PCM & English subjects.

Candidates have to secure minimum 60% marks in PCM & 50% marks in English.

For B.Tech:

Candidates have to clear 10+2/ equivalent examination.

Candidates have to qualify 10+2/ equivalent examination with PCM & English subjects.

Candidates have to score at least 60% marks in PCM & 50% marks in English.

For B.Tech (Lateral Entry):

Candidates have to pass Diploma in Engineering.

For MBA:

Candidates have to pass their bachelor degree from a recognized university.

Candidates have to obtain at least 50% marks. Score 50% marks in English Subject in 10th/12th/ UG Degree.

For M.Tech:

Candidates have to pass their graduation or equivalent degree from a recognized university.

Candidates have to secure minimum 60% aggregated marks.

There will be a 5% relaxation in eligibility marks for SC/ST category).

Age Criteria:

The minimum age should be 18 26 years (for LE in B.Tech) and 19 27 years (for entry in 3rd year of B.Tech).

Relaxation: There is relaxation of 5 years for reserved category candidates.

Martial Status: Only unmarried candidates can apply for this exam.
