Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (IITD) was established on 21st August, 1961. It awards degrees at the Bachelor, Master and Doctoral levels.

IITD has 23 departments and Research Centres.

Department of Electrical Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (IITD) has over 20 well equipped laboratories.

Department of EE is equipped with a number of PCs and workstations hosting several software packages, and linked through a LAN. Internet Service is provided to Students and Staff.
