The Department of Management Studies, Indian Institute of Science Bangalore offers Master of Management program of duration 2 years. Master of Management Duration 2 years Eligibility: Common Admission Test (CAT ) (conducted by IIMs) qualified candidates with I class in BE/B.Tech/Equivalent Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineers (GATE) qualified candidates (current and previous year, conducted by IISc and IITs) with I class in BE/B.Tech/Equivalent GMAT qualified candidates with I class in BE/B.Tech/Equivalent Mode of Selection: Group Discussion and Personal Interview The selected candidates will be called for an interview and group discussion in the department to be held towards the 3rd week of April. Candidates called for the group discussion and interview should carry attested copies of their transcripts (marks memos from SSLC or equivalent onwards, degree certificate of the qualifying examination, etc) and produce them before the interview committee, failing which, will not be interviewed by the panel. Course structure: Hard Core Courses = 8 X 3 credits = 24 credits Stream Core Courses = 4 X 3 credits = 12 credits Electives = 12 credits Project work = 16 credits Total = 64 credits Summer Term: Public Sector as well as Private Sector R&D Organizations, and High-tech Industries in the Corporate Sector. Alternatively, some of them will be encouraged to get exposure to Business Incubation, Venture Capital Funds, and Successful Start-Ups.
