Indian institute of Port Management (IIPM) is a scholastic institute.
It was initially set up with an objective to carry out training programmes, consulting and additional research services for the ports and shipping industry.

But on 14th November, 2008 IIPM was merged with Indian Maritime University.
Presently, IIPM continues to function as a division of the IMU, which refers to IIPM as IMU's Kolkata campus.

IIPM has been imparting PG management programmes including management development programmes in adding to offering DG Shipping approved post-sea courses in association with FOSMA Maritime Institute & Research Organization (FMIRO), Mumbai. Every year about 6000 participants are hugely profited by attending a bouquet of programmes at the Institute.
