Indian Forest Service is one of the Civil Services of India and belongs to the apex All India Services group, with other two All India Services being the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) and the Indian Police Service (IPS). UPSC conducts Indian Forest Service’s Exam for recruitment to forestry services of India. in IFS exam you have to clear two rounds. First is written and second is Personal Interview. Age Limitation: Aspirant’s age limit should be in between 21 to 30 Years as on before 1st July of that year. IFS Exam Eligibility Educational Criteria You need to hold the Bachelor Degree in Science with at least one of the following subject: Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Geology, Statistics, Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry; or Bachelor’s Degree in engineering (any stream) / Forestry/ Agriculture; or MBBS.
