Employment news will be publish in month of May every year by UPSC for employment for posts of Indian Forest Services.

UPSC IFS Exam Eligibility Criteria:

Age Limit:
21 to 30 years

Minimum Education Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree

Number of Attempts:
General categories
6 (Gen),
9 (OBC),
Unlimited (SC)

Exam Pattern :

Structure:
Preliminary & Main Exam

Preliminary Exam :
2 Papers (200 marks each)

Main Exam:
6 Papers (Total 1400 marks)

Interview :
300 Marks

Preliminary Examination:
Two papers
200 marks each.
Duration : 2 hours.
Extra time of 20 minutes will be available for blind candidates.

Main Examination:

Paper I -> General English -> 300 marks

Paper II -> General Knowledge -> 300 marks

Paper III, IV, V & VI –>Any two subjects to be selected from the list of optional subjects set out below.
Each subject will have two papers. -> 200 marks each
