IES 2016 Notification:- ENGINEERING SERVICES EXAMINATION, 2016 DATE OF NOTIFICATION (SATURDAY):- 27.02.2016 LAST DATE FOR RECEIPT OF APPLICATIONS:- 25.03.2016 (FRIDAY) DATE OF COMMENCEMENT OF EXAM:- 27.05.2016 (FRIDAY) DURATION OF EXAM:- 3 DAYS Eligibility for IES Exam:- Age:- Applicants aged between 21 and 30 years. Educational Qualification:- Applicants should have B.E./B.Tech or passed sections A and B of the Institution Examinations of the Institution of Engineers (India) or Applicants should have Obtained a degree/diploma in engineering from such foreign university/college/institution recognized by the Government of India from time to time. Applicants should have Passed Graduate Membership Examination of the Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (India); or Applicants should have Passed Associate Membership Examination Parts II and III/Sections A and B of the Aeronautical Society of India; or Applicants should have Passed Graduate Membership Examination of the Institution of Electronics and Radio Engineers, London held after November, 1959. Nationality:- The aspirant must be any one of the following: Applicants should be citizen of India Applicants should be citizen of Nepal or a subject of Bhutan Applicants should be person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India. IES Pattern:- Paper I (Objective type) General Ability Test (Part A: General English) (Part B: General Studies) 200 Marks Papers II & III (Objective type) Civil Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering/Electronics & Tele-Communication Engineering 200 Marks for each paper Papers IV & V(Conventional Type) Civil Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering/Electronics & Tele-communication Engineering 200 Marks for each paper Total marks for written Examination 1000 Marks Personality Test 200 Marks |
