Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has published exam notification of Indian Economic Service (IES)/Indian Statistical Service (ISS) Examination, 2015:

Key dates
Date of Notification: 21st February 2015

Last Date for Submission of Application Form: 20th March 2015

Date of commencement of Examination: 23rd May 2015 (Saturday)

As you can see dates are gone , so you can try for it next year

Eligibility
You have must post Graduate Degree in Economics/Applied Economics/ Business Economics/Econometrics from a University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational Institutes established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as University under Section 3 of the University Grants commission Act, 1956 or a Foreign University approved by the Central Government from time to time

Selection Process

Part I: Written examination carrying a maximum of 1000 marks

Part II: Viva voce of such candidates as may be called by the Commission, carrying a maximum of 200 marks

For IES

General English - 100 marks - 3 hours

General Studies - 100 marks - 3 hours

General Economics-I - 200 marks - 3 hours

General Economics-II - 200 marks - 3 hours

General Economics-III - 200 marks - 3 hours

Indian Economics - 200 marks - 3 hours
