The Indian Council Of Agricultural Research Institute is located in Delhi. The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) is an autonomous organisation under the Department of Agricultural Research and Education (DARE), Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare , Government of India.

Situated in Delhi, it is financed and administered by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR).

The IARI was responsible for the research leading to the "Green Revolution in India" of the 1970s.
