Indian Army is one of the three wings of Indian Defense Academy. NDA exam counduct by UPSC twice in year for three wings of Airforce, Army, Navy & Navel Academy.

Eligibility criteria:
Students must have citizenship of India
Students must be completed 12th standard from recognized state board of India
Only unmarried male Students are eligible

The age limit for Indian Army depends upon the mode of entry.
Since there are different modes of entry in Indian Army, the age limit varies as follows:
For students joining Indian Army by qualifying Combined Defense Services Examination
Indian Military Academy:19-24 years
Officers Training Academy:19-25 years

For students joining through NCC Entry (Men): 19-25 years
For Law Graduates: 21-27 years
Junior Commissioned Officer Religious Teacher:27-34 years
For Technical Graduate Course: 20-27 years
Soldier: 17 1/2 - 23 years
