How to join Indian Army after B.Tech. in Electronics and Electrical engineering???? Which entrance exam do I need to appear???????

B.Tech. in Electronics and Electrical engineering can apply for the Technical Officer in Army. You need to appear in the Combined Defence Services Examination which is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission. Here I am giving you the details of CDS exam:

Required qualification for the army:
The applicant should hold Degree of a recognized University or equivalent with good academic record………..

Age-limits:
19-24 Years Indian Military Academy

Tentative Schedule: (Examination held twice a year)
Notification of Examination August and March
Conduct of Examination February and August

Syllabus of CDS exam –
CDS exam consists of three papers of 100 marks each -
General English – 100 marks
General knowledge – 100 marks
Elementary Maths – 100 marks

As you have completed B.Tech degree so you can apply through CDS exam to join Indian Army

CDS stands for Combined Defence Services Examination

It is conducted by UPSC twice a year

Eligibility:
Must have passed graduation degree from a recognized university or equivalent

Age limit:
Age should be between 18-24 years
