Selection of candidate in Indian Air force through engineering colleges is generally be done in the pre final year and in final year .

Students student in pre final year will only apply for the University Entry Scheme in Technical branch for permanent commission.

Candidates studying in the final year and pre final year of engineering course can apply through the following modes:

PRE FINAL YEAR STUDENTS :

Pre Final year students Eligible to apply for the UES.

Candidate has to appear for Air Force Entrance Test.

Candidates who have cleared the AFET test will be called for SSB.

Age Limit
Between 18-28 years of age.

Final year students :
Final year students are eligible to apply for the various branches of Indian air force.

Flying Branch:
Candidates having degree in B.E/B.Tech or have appeared in final year of engineering are eligible to appear for this exam.

Age :
between 19 to 23 years .

Technical Branch:
Candidates having degree of B.E/B.Tech or have appeared in the final year of exam are eligible to appear for the Technical Branch.
