Yes you can get better job scopes in Indian air force after passing engineering degree .. here I am giving you information about required eligibility to apply for jobs in Indian air force .

As an Engineer, you can apply for all branches of the IAF
Flying Branch
Ground Duty Branches
Technical Branch

For FLYING BRANCH
Age limit: 19 to 23 years
Upper age limit for candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot License issued by DGCA (India) is relaxable up to 25 years

Educational Qualifications :
Graduates (Minimum three year degree course) in any discipline from a recognized university with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers

You Must have passed Maths and Physics at 10+2 level or BE/B.Tech degree from a recognized university with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together.

IAF Technical branch Eligibility:
Age limit:
The applicants age in between 18 to 28 years.

You have to passed an Engineering degree from a well recognized university and you must obtained a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate in all the papers put together.

Selection:
The IAF Technical branch selection is based on Air Force Common Admission Test.

The Air Force Common Admission Test questions consist of 4 sections
General Awareness
Verbal Ability in English
Numerical Ability
Reasoning and Military Aptitude Test

After Engineering Indian Air Force Job

The Indian Air Force calls for enthusiastic and committed engineers to become a part of the Indian Air Force team.

Candidates short-listed after the initial selection procedure ((such as the AFCAT exam and CDS exam), go through a rigorous training regimen at one of the Air Force training establishments.

Thereafter, they are commissioned as officers and embark on a glorious and fulfilling career.

As an Engineer, you can soar into a rewarding and challenging career in the Indian Air Force.

You can even join the Technical Branch in your final or pre-final year of engineering through the University Entry Scheme

Salary

Pay in Pay Band (same for flying, technical, ground duty): Rs. 15,600

Grade Pay: Rs. 5,400

Military Service Pay: Rs. 6,000

Dearness Allowance @ 107 percent: Rs. 28,890

Kit Maintenance Allowance: Rs. 500

Transport Allowance: Rs. 3,200 + DA ( in major cities) or Rs. 1,600 + DA ( in other cities)

Additional allowance:


Flying Allowance: Rs. 11,250 per month for Flying Branch officers

Technical Allowance: Rs. 2,500 per month for Technical Branch officers
