After completion of Engineering course applicants can join the Indian Air Force through following ways . Engineers can join the Technical Branch in their final or pre-final year of engineering . Technical Branch : Engineers can apply for the Technical Branch via any of the two schemes listed below: Direct Entry Scheme : After you have completed engineering, you can join Technical Branch through the Direct Entry Scheme. Both men and women applicants can use this mode of entry to apply to the Indian Air Force. Direct Entry Scheme Aeronautical Engg. (Electronics) Permanent / SSC . As an Aeronautical Engineer in Electronics stream, you are responsible for communication and signals required on the Air Force station. To join the Aeronautical Engineering (Electronics) stream you must fulfil the following eligibility criteria: Marital Status : Single Age : 18 to 28 years Gender : This is applicable to both men & women. Nationality : Indian Educational Qualification (Aeronautical Engineer Electonics) 1 division (60% & above) BE / B.Tech in Electronics / Electrical / Electrical Communication / Telecommunication / Electronics & Communication / Computer Science & Engineering / Instrumentation or a combination of these subjects. OR B Tech in Radio Physics and Electronics / Optics & Opto Electronics OR Diploma in Electronics of Madras Institute of Technology OR MSc Degree in Physics (With Electronics) / Computer Science / Electronics / Computer Application / MCA with Maths, Physics and Electronics at graduation level or MSc. Tech in Electronics & Radio Engineering |
