Indian Air Force conduct Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT), for recruitment of candidates into Flying (Short Service Commission only), Technical (Permanent and Short Service Commission) and Ground Duty (Permanent and Short Service Commission) Branches.

The AFCAT Exam is usually conducted twice a year.

The examination is designed to assess the understanding level of concepts and intelligence of the candidate.

Syllabus:

General Awareness

The section is designed to test the general knowledge of the applicant.
It will have questions to test aspirant’s awareness of ongoing, current events in various fields around the world.
Generally, about 20 questions are asked in this section.
