National Defence Academy (NDA) is a national level entrance exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) for recruiting candidates to the Indian Defence forces
Indian Army,
Indian Navy and
Indian Air Force

Eligibility for Air force:
Candidates must have passed class 12th exam with physics and Mathematics from a recognized board

Age-limit:
16-1/2 - 19 Years

Date of Notification: 2nd January, 2016
Last date for filled application Forms: 29 January , 2016
Date of exam: 17th April , 2016

NDA NA Exam (2) 2016
Date of Notification: 18th June, 2016
Last date for filled application Forms: 15 July, 2016
Date of exam: 18th September, 2016

Exam Pattern
The NDA exam consists of two papers:
Mathematics and
General ability test

Mathematics:
The mathematics paper is of 300 marks and consists of multiple choice questions based on the syllabus of class 10th and 11th.
The time allowed to write the paper is 2.5 hr.

General Ability:
The General Ability test comprises of two section i.e.
Section A and
Section B.
The section A is of English (200 marks) and Section B (400 marks) is of general knowledge.
