The Civil Services Examination IAS exam is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) annually.

It is one of the toughest exams in the country. With the right approach and strategy, an aspirant can crack the examination in the very first attempt.

The preliminary exam has two papers for 200 marks each. The exam will be held and consist objective type questions. The preliminary exam of IAS is qualifying in nature and candidates will have to secure at least 33% of the total marks to be eligible for the mains exam.

Exam pattern:

The Preliminary Examination consists of two papers of objective type (multiple-choice questions) carrying a maximum of 400 marks.

The Question Papers (Test Booklets) are set in English & Hindi

General Studies Paper II 200 Marks
