Indian Administrative Service is the premier administrative civil service of the Government of India. the iAS officer posted on union Government states and in public sectors of indiathe IAs officer commanded over district as a district collector.

for becoming an IAS officer.
for becoming the IAS officer one should give the examination of Civil Service Examination conducted by the Union Service Commission (UPSC)

Selection process:
preliminary examination consisting of two paper

economics, politics, history, geography, environment, awareness of current affairs,

reading comprehension, logical reasoning and basic numeracy skills
