After GP rating course from Merchant Navy you will be able to join as a GP RATING in Indian & foreign Shipping Companies as a GP crew and you can work deck or engine crew. With further sea service, they will be promoted as DECK SERANG, BOSUN, ABLE BODIED SEAMEN, and OILER.

Pre-Sea Training Course:
G.P. Rating

Course Duration:
6 Months

Age:
17.5 to 25 yrs.

Physical Status:
Applicant must possess good health as per latest M. S. Rule

Eye-sight:
6/6 with out spectacles, without color blindness

After successful completion of G.P.Rating course, the course certificate will be issued by the academy approved by DGS govt. of India.


Program is offered at:
Bharath Institute of Marine Services in Hyderabad, India

Salary after this course:
After completion of Pre sea training, the candidate becomes a 3rd officer, with a minimum Salary of 1500 – 2000 USD /month

MEDICAL PROCESS:
Medical examination will be conducted by DG Approved panel of doctors, Centres – Chennai and Goa.

Eligibility Criteria:
Age :
Between 17.5 to 25 years

Qualification :
10th with min 40% marks with Mathematics & Science as subjects from a recognized Education Board, Eng-40%

No Color Blindness

Eye sight +/-2.5

No permanent physical disability
