Can you tell me in detail about the Admission Procedure in Computer Application courses offered by Institute of Management Studies (IMS) Noida?

Institute of Management Studies (IMS) Noida is ranked amongst “Top B- Schools of India” by The Times of India , Times B School Survey, from last two consecutive years 2013 & 2014.

Bachelor of Computer Applications (2014-2017)

Eligibility for Admission:

One seeking admission to the BCA Specialization Programme must have passed 10+2 (or its equivalent) exam from a recognized Board/ University.

One appearing for the qualifying exam or those who are awaiting their results is also eligible to apply.

Selection Procedure:

The form provided by CCS University has to be filled in and submitted to the institute. The institutes will short list the candidates and produce a Merit List on the basis of the performance at 10+2 level.
The candidates are allotted seats in category on the basis of their merit.

Admission Criteria:

One needs to register their names for Joint Entrance Test (J.E.T) to be conducted by IMS NOIDA in its premises.

The test is based on general awareness, basic mathematics, reasoning questionnaire, and communication skills.

Each Student is required to register by filling up an JET (Joint Entrance Test) application form which can be collected from the Institute

Masters of Computer Applications (2014-2017)

Masters of Computer Applications (MCA) is a three-year degree course affiliated to Mahmaya Technical University, Noida and is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India.

It places special emphasis on training its MCA Students not only through teaching but also through real-life projects.

Eligibility for Admission:

Candidates seeking admission to the MCA program must be graduate (with minimum 50% marks) in any discipline from a recognized university with Mathematics as one of the subjects at Intermediate level.

Selection Procedure:

Admission in general category is through UP State Entrance Exam (UPSEE), the seats are allocated on merit basis through counseling at various centers in the state.

The Management quota seats (15% of the total seats) filled on the basis of their percentage in graduation followed by personal interview at IMS Noida.

Admission Criteria:

One interested in MCA Program are requested to register for Personal Interview to be conducted by IMS Noida in its premises.
