Important Dates For IAS Exam
I am going to give Indian Administrative Service (IAS) Exam and I need some important dates related to IAS Exam such as application date and Examination date . Would you please provide me schedule of IAS Exam ? Please tell me which type of preparations required for it ??

The online application for IAS (Indian Administrative Services) Exam 2018 by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) was filled up to March 06, 2018 till 6:00 PM. The eligible candidates were issued an e-Admission Certificate three weeks before the commencement of the examination. The e-Admission Certificate was made available on the UPSC official website for downloading by candidates. No Admission Certificate was sent by post. UPSC IAS Exam Important Dates 2018 IAS Civil Services Date of Notification 07-02-2018 Last Date for Receipt of Applications (Till 6:00 PM) 06-03-2018 Date of Civil Services Preliminary Examination 03-06-2018 Date of IAS Civil Services Main Examination 28-09-2018 to 02-10-2018 Eligibility Nationality One must be a citizen of India. Or one must be one of the following: A citizen of India A citizen of Nepal or a subject of Bhutan A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia or Vietnamwith the intention of permanently settling in India Education One must have as a minimum one of the following educational qualifications: A degree from a Central, State or a Deemed university A degree received through correspondence or distance education A degree from an open university A qualification recognized by the Government of India as being equivalent to one of the above The following are also eligible, but must submit proof of their eligibility from a competent authority at the university at the time of the main exam, failing which they will not be allowed to attend the exam. One who has appeared in an exam, the passing of which would render them educationally qualified enough to satisfy one of the above points One who has passed the final exam of the MBBS degree but have not yet completed an internship. One who has passed the final exam of ICAI, ICSI and ICWAI. A degree from a private university. A degree from any foreign university recognized by the Association of Indian Universities. Age One must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 32 years (for the General category candidate) on August 1 of the year of exam. Age limits vary with respect to caste reservations: For Other Backward Castes (OBC) the upper age limit is 35 For Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST), the limit is 37 years.
