Eligibility for Admission to Examinations

Only Members of the Institution are authorized to enroll / appear in any of the Institution Examination

T-ENG. LEVEL

Part I
A qualification certificate in 10th Standard with English, Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics with Six months engineering work experience either as Trainee or Employee.

Part II
A qualification certificate In 10+2 level examination with English, Physics, Chemistry, Maths or a qualification certificate in T. Eng, Part-I of the Institution’s examinations with Six months work experience either as trainee or Employee.

Section A
A qualification certificate in Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Government Polytechnic with Six months work experience in Engineering field either as Trainee or Employee or a final qualification certificate in T. Eng. Part-II examination of Institution and who have 3½ year Engineering work experience.

Section B
A qualification certificate in Section-A examination of the institution or equivalent qualification with Engineering work experience.

Membership

It is essential to secure membership of the Institution for appearing in the above examinations.

There are 2 types of membership

STUDENT GRADE MEMBER

Student grade membership is agreed to those who have secured a qualification certificate in 10th Standard with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics or a pass in 10+2 examination (science stream) and who have minimum 6 months Engineering works experience either as Trainee or Employee. He should have completed 16 years.

TECHNICIAN GRADE MEMBER

This is agreed to those who have secured a diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Automobile Engineering or Production Engineering or a qualification certificate in T. Engg or equivalent and who are Twenty years of age and who have minimum Six months experience in engineering works as Trainee or Employee.
