I want to book a slot for the IITM SEM Metallurgical and Materials Engineering? How many seats available in it? And how can I apply for the IITM SEM Metallurgical and Materials Engineering? Please feel free to give me additional details about it.

Hi I would like to know the details for booking the IITM Scanning Electron Microscope Laboratory for DEPARTMENT OF METALLURGICAL AND MATERIALS ENGINEERING?

DEPARTMENT OF METALLURGICAL AND MATERIALS ENGINEERING offers the laboratory for carrying out several experiments as well as for practical purpose.

Important information to users:
1. The requisition form is universal for all 3 SEMs.

2. The EDS analysis in FEGSEM is at the moment possible in Inspect F SEM
which works at high vacuum. Samples have to be conducting or have to be
coated with Carbon for EDS work

3. Please check with the technical staff if the sample requires sputter
coating.

4. Only 1 requisition form will be entertained at a time. Users are requested
NOT to yield the next form until previous work is completed.

5. The slot period will be 90 minutes (for a maximum of three samples)

6. Suggestions are also welcomed.
