Can you provide me the syllabus of M.Tech program in Atmospheric Science offered by IITM or Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology, Pune, as I have heard that syllabus has been revised through joint efforts between University of Pune and IITM or Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology, Pune?

I am living in Pune, Maharashtra and planning to join Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology (IITM) Pune searching for M.Tech course details. Will you provide basic details of doing M.Tech.(Atmos.Sci) Programme of Pune university also provide contacts and address?

The Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology (IITM) is a scientific institution based in Pune, India for expanding research in tropical Indian Ocean of the tropics in general with special reference to monsoon meteorology and air-sea interaction of India monsoon

M.Tech course details:

M.Tech.(Atmos.Sci) Programme of Pune university :

There exist an MoU between IITM and University of Pune for implementating the M.Tech.(Atmos.Sci.) programme.

IITM gives a few scholarships to students who take Projects in IITM during the second year. Recently Pune University management council approved inclusion of IITM name in the M.Tech (Mark-List) from the 19th batch of 2007-2008.

About 12 scientists of IITM contribute in the M.Tech. teaching programme of Pune University.

M.Tech.(Atmos.Sci) Programme of Other University : Only for Project work.
