I have completed M.Tech Program from IIT Mumbai. Now I am searching for top Colleges of India for Ph.D Program in Computer Science. So can I do Ph.D Computer Science Program from IITKGP? What are the minimum eligibility criteria for Ph.D admission at IITKGP? Provide application form for admission.

It is one of top Engineering Colleges in India.

The IIT Kharagpur has many Educational Departments that offers a wide range of Educational Programs.

As you want to know about admission requirements for Ph.D Program, so here I am providing following information:

Admission Requirements:
Master degree in relevant discipline from recognized University or Institution

Admission will be done through Entrance Test conducted by IIT KGP.

Selection Process:
Test and Interview

Selection Criteria:
Overall academic performance : 40 per cent
Written/Computer Test : 40 per cent, and
Interview conducted by the Department/Centre/School : 20 per cent

Application Fee for Registration:
Rs.1000/-

Important Dates:
Commencement of Online application form submission March 19, 2018
Website closure for submission of online application form April 23, 2018
Date of Test & Interviews in Depts/Centres/Schools (for short listed candidates)
May 28-31, 2018 & June 01, 2018
Date of admission in the Ph.D. programme for selected candidates July 10, 2018(Tuesday)
