What is the exact location of Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur? I have an interview at the institute. I never visited at institute before it. If it possible for you then share the map of the IITKGP with me so I will not face any problem to reach at the institute.

The Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur is situated in Kharagpur. The Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur is a public engineering institution established by the government of India in 1951.

IIT Kharagpur is located 120 kilometres (75 mi) west of Kolkata. The campus is located five kilometres away from Kharagpur's railway station.

The 8.5 square kilometres (2,100 acres) campus is residence to about 22,000 inhabitants.

The campus is situated about 120 km west of Kolkata, Kharagpur can be reached in about 2 hours by train from Howrah railway station of Kolkata or 3 hours by car from Kolkata Airport.

The Institute is about 10 minutes drive (5 km) from the Kharagpur railway station. Private taxi, autorickshaw or cycle-rickshaw can be hired to reach the Institute.
