Hello sit, I’m a student of IIT Bombay. Here I came to get detail of Robotics department in IIT Bombay. Can any one provide me detail of IIT Bombay robotics?

IIT Bombay provides competition of robotics in its event. This university has announced every year robotic war for candidates.

IIT Bombay has successfully developed three kinds of robotic systems. One of these is NATARAJ—the six-legged walking robot. It has been developed in the Robotics laboratory of the Mechanical Engineering Department with funding from the Department of Atomic Energy, Govt. of India.


The robotics event at IIT Bombay’s is well-known technological festival TECHFEST. It provides a platform for design and innovation of robots.

Robotics is important also from the national perspectives of disaster management and medical applications. IIT Bombay aims to develop an array of terrestrial, underwater and aerial robots to perform variety of tasks.
