For offering management courses the IIT Roorkee established Management Department. In IIT Roorkee 'The Department was established by the Institute to reflect the needs of present-day dynamic business and economic scenario and to enable its students to face the challenges of corporate world.

The Department offers two-year full-time residential MBA programme.

The Department is housed in an exquisitely designed double storeyed building with four spacious lecture rooms, a large computer laboratory, a double storeyed library with 6100 books, syndicate and committee halls, auditorium with teaching aids and a large central atrium.
