Master of Business Administration is the two-year programme of SJMSOM, IIT Bombay that seeks to develop managers for an integrated understanding of all business functions.

Eligibility Criteria 2019-21(Domestic Candidates)

One must have a Bachelor degree or a Master degree with minimum 60% marks (55% for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD category) or a minimum CPI of 6.5 (6 for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD category) out of 10 from the universities recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India.

The bachelor degree or equivalent qualification obtained must entail a minimum of four years of education after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent.

One appearing for final year of the degree and have completed the degree requirements and awaiting results can also apply. One should have secured an aggregate of 60% marks (55% for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD category) or equivalent till the latest exam that has been completed and whose scores are available.

CA/ICWA, with a first-class Bachelor degree in any discipline having secured 60% marks (55% for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD category) in aggregate (including all years/ semesters) or a minimum CPI of 6.5 (6 for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD category) out of 10.


Admission/Selection Process:

The selection will be carried out in two phases.

In the first phase, the eligible candidates as per the eligibility criteria [A] mentioned above will be shortlisted for Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI).

One must have a valid CAT 2018 score securing a minimum overall percentile score as well as minimum sectional percentile score.

Shortlisting Criteria for MBA 2019-21 batch:

One securing a minimum overall percentile score as well as minimum sectional percentile score in CAT 2018, will be considered for shortlisting for WAT/PI process.

Eligibility Criteria MBA 2019-21 (International Candidates)

One must holds a foreign passport, or has Indian passport but is studying/working abroad continuously for more than or equal to two years (as on 30 Sept. 2019).

1] One must have four-year Bachelor degree or a Master Degree in any discipline with first class or 60% marks (55% for one belonging to SC/ST category) in aggregate (including all years/semesters) or minimum CPI of 6.5 (6 for one belonging to SC/ST category) out of 10.

2] CA/ICWA, with a first class Bachelor degree in any discipline having secured 60% marks (55% for one belonging to SC/ST category) in aggregate (including all years/ semesters) or minimum CPI of 6.5 (6 for one belonging to SC/ST category) out of 10.

3] One appearing for the final degree exam can also apply. The admission in such cases will be subject to their fulfilling the minimum eligibility criteria as stated in (1) or (2) at the time of joining the course.

4] One who holds a foreign passport and does not have an Indian passport should have cleared TOEFL or IELTS.
