IIT Madras Swimming Pool Membership

I am a student of the IIT Madras , I want to get the Membership of the Swimming Pool facility offered by the university . Will you please tell what are the monthly charges for getting membership there and also tell how I can get the membership at Swimming Pool of IIT Madras.

Swimming Pool membership at IITM

Go to Gymkhana office between 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm.

Get the application form from the desk by swearing that you have got
money, a passport size photograph and ID card*.

Fill the form and give it at the desk.

Wait until your name is called out (Warning : This might take arbitrarily long
time).

When your name is called go to the desk and, give all the things that you
swore for when you took the form.

In case anything is missing go and get it. Goto step 4.

Get your membership card and receipt. You are ready to swim.


Institute Gymkhana

Swimming Pool | Fitness | Badminton | Tennis

IIT Madras Alumni and their spouse and children (below 18 years) are eligible to use various Gymkhana facilities by becoming members of the respective clubs. The subscription rates for the various clubs are as follows:

Hours for Membership Application: 2:30 – 4:30pm on all working days
Location of Gymkhana Office: I-Floor, Administrative Building Annex
