NUS (National University of Singapore) has made provision for stipend under National University of Singapore and IIT Madras Joint Degree Programmes

Five students to be admitted under this program and they will be based at NUS. Each student will have an opportunity of working for a period of 1*2 years at IIT Madras under the joint supervision of NUS and IIT M faculty members. They will be supported by NUS while they work at IIT M.

Also five students under the same program based at IIT Madras. These students will also have an opportunity to work at NUS under the joint supervision of NUS and IIT M faculty members.

While these students are at NUS for 1*2 years, they will be provided with stipend of S$2,000 per month. Faculty members of IIT Madras shall take students under this joint Ph.D programmes and contribute to the successful research collaboration between NUS & IIT M.
