Traffic Engineering:
Vehicular traffic flow theory, pedestrian flow theory, analysis of traffic facilities.

Transport Demand Analysis:
Transit Systems
Vehicle and transit routing and transit scheduling

Traffic Safety:
Motorist and vulnerable road user safety, use of advanced technology and computer aided systems for decision making, development and evaluation of interventions to enhance traffic safety.

Highway Financing and Policy Analysis:
Sustainable highway financing, risk assessment, public private partnership, analysis of alternative financing systems.

Pavement Engineering:
Characterization of bituminous mix, mix design and recycling, analysis of pavement structure, optimal pavement design, pavement evaluation, pavement rehabilitation strategies.
