The Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur, is a public university located in Jodhpur in the state of Rajasthan in India.

It was founded in 2008

M.Tech. Programs

The Institute offers the following Master of Technology (M.Tech.) Programs:
1. M.Tech. (Electrical Engineering), and
2. M.Tech. (Mechanical Engineering).

During 2010-14, the Institute had admitted students to the following M.Tech. Programs:
1. M.Tech. (Information & Communication Technology),
2. M.Tech. (Energy),
3. M.Tech. (System Science).

Education Qualification for GATE Qualified:

-B.Tech, B. E. or B.Sc. (Engineering) with at least 60% marks or at least 6.5/10 Cumulative Performance Index (CPI) or Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA)

-Sc. in Sciences with at least 70% marks or at least 7/10 Cumulative Performance Index (CPI) or Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA)

Selection Procedure for GATE Qualified:
Gate Score + written test/interview

Seat Reservation:
-15% SC
-5% ST
-27% OBC

Financial assistance:
-A monthly stipend of Rs. 8000 in return for 8 hours of work per week of Teaching or Research Assistantships.
-Also, Institute provides partial financial support up to Rs. 25,000 to each M. Tech student during their entire M. Tech Program for presenting research papers at International conferences, workshops or seminars.
